but its outdated as hell

the console got the best operating system out there and very stable since 2.8.1 but it lacks in all other departments.

i have a mac book osx 1.6.6 2.4ghz 2gb memory

i tried to record the show using the fire wire and i wasn't able to find the profile f.w card as an audio device.
am i doing something wrong?

you need the v7 if you want to use plugins such as the c6 cla ssl etc.
you need to buy a license for d-show enabler and put it on your i lock

yep the ram

i think that it a known fact for avid and waves that all the new waves plugins(ssl,vocal rider etc) takes a lot of the comp recourses. and the way to deal with it is changing the ram...

hmmm hmmmm its about time for a 32 aux upgrade!!!

I did some sys tech for a "hot" major arena/stadium tour that came to Israel
The consoles wore SD7 on foh and monitors
The foh really likes it....

there is a way to do it - f.o.h gets 48 preamps and outs and monitors gets 48 preamps and outs and both gets to "see" the other stage rack inputs and to use them

you need to have 2 snake cards in...

Its for a thither show not rocknroll.
Cant let it go to 0 and then pull it back....it's a very dynamic show and it's not something i can fully predict between scenes .

its just seem weird to me...

Safe is not a good options because i do want the vca to change from scene to scene as i programed them.

but from time to time the dynamics of the play changes and i need that kind of option:(
