you need to load 6.9 i think. are you running tiger? if so, 6.7 doesnt run on tiger (i think)

you will want to make sure you dont use a usb hub for the mbox1. digidesign says mbox will not function properly

i think digi whats you to turn off bluetooth because of security reasons etc. i know people who use their bluetooth cell phones to control protools (its pretty cool).

i wonder what digi thinks.

Are you using an external hard drive?
How much free space on the drive?
how powerful is your cpu?
have you ever defragmented the drive?

try bouncing to a different folder.

if your master fader is peaking then turning down the two buss will do you no good. you must select all tracks and turn them down equally till you have a healthy amount of head room on your master....

the alt source is a consumer line level input. (cd players and the like) not intended for pro hardware interface if i recall. your best bet is either use 002 as primary sound card for listening to...
