Assertion Errors Elastic Audio Quantize to Extracted Groove

Has Digi responded to the many queries here about Assertion Errors when quantizing audio to extracted grooves?

It worked fine for me in 7.4 but has never worked properly in 9, and if Digi has...

Re: EA Groove Quantize Assertion Error

Getting the same error; extracted groove from kick, trying to quantize bass with monophonic EA.

Trashed preferences, volumes, databases and restarted; created new bass file, etc. Keeps...

Re: Digi - Leopard Compatibility - Good Faith Gesture???

Personally, I deliberately found a new Mac Pro still loaded with Tiger, and everything is peachy here. Plus they gave me the Leopard disc, so when it's qualified, I'll have it. But I won't jump...

Re: More inputs?

Last question on this: In standalone mode, with the 002's optical out going to the 003's optical in, I'm getting 16 ins. Only works for sessions opened in 44.1 or 48, BUT -- the samplerate light on...

Re: More inputs?

It's working. The session has to be at 44.1, because I can't figure out how to change the 002 to 48. There's clicks, though -- every 3.4 seconds.

----------

Ok, clicks gone. Change to...

Re: More inputs?

Thanks DF -- I did do that -- that's what made the second 8 tracks available in the i/o setup. Still no audio, though.

Re: More inputs?

Ok so I have it in front of me, and with the 002 in standalone mode, optical out connected to the optical in of the 003R, and LE does in fact see the 8 additional ins, mapped from 9-16. However I...

Re: More inputs?

Thanks, guys. Phil, are you saying that if I connected the optical out of the 002 c/s to the optical in of the 003R I'd have the 8 ins of the 002 available as inputs in PT?

More inputs?

Hey. I have the 003 rack and have an opportunity to pick up an 002 factory 8x2. The answer to this is probably no, but is there a way to use them both to get more simultaneous inputs? Would PT...

Thanks for the info. I have compatible fw drives, but I think I'll get a second internal and use that.

Advice

Hey all -- I just ordered a MacPro 2.66, with Tiger installed. Have been running 7.3.1cs3 and 003R on a 10.4.9 PPC, with the audio on a separate internal drive, and will be switching over to the...

Re: AudioSuite file only going into Region area

It's not in preferences, it's on the audiosuite window itself. A drop-down menu that toggles between the two.

Re: random clips when playing back/bouncing...help!

This is probably no help, but it kinda sounds like your keyboard is going on you. Like it's sending weird commands.

Is it very old, or did you spill chicken noodle soup on it or something? I did...

Re: what are the absolute DOs and DONTs in the world of mixing?

Yay! Another opportunity for me to complain about the 003R's phantom power buttons being on the back!
