For me, I found that it's my SPL Ranger plugin that is causing it. I would love to have a solution since I need to bounce some sessions which include the plugin ASAP.

I deleted the "WaveShell-AAX 9.2" and 9.3 folder while leaving the 9.6 folder in the plugins folder and it seems to go well now.

I recently noticed in a 48khz session that the click was not playing tightly on the grid when I'm in a buffer size other than 128.
I made further tests by recording my click track into an audio...

Fortunately I have the Waves S1 and it worked, you just have to insert the Downmixer after.
DC-Choppah technique also seams a good solution if you don't have the S1.

Yes the audio is out of sync.
The way I find to bypass this effect is to separate the track at all bars before changing from rythmic to X-form.

But when I'm doing that sometime pro tools will...
