Could be the partitions on the drives.

Partitions are not needed and probably not good for a PT rig.

No matter how you name them the computer probably accesses them by a different...

I would also say its a REAL potential problem.

I picked up a virus a couple of weeks ago trying to find guitar tab online.
Big mistake.

2 days of clean install.( I spent extra time insuring...

Re: your thoughts on the se reflextion sheild

Yeah, for sure! ( I genuinely had no clue what point you were making.)

I ended up super gluing the new one in place because I got sick of pulling it out whenever I unplugged it.

Also the nut...

Re: Recording track count on M-Powered?

My understanding is that only 18 SIMULTANEOUS recorded tracks is possible above PT 7.1.

PT 7.0 supposedly had a glitch that allowed almost unlimited simultaneous recording with certain...

I dont believe PT supports 64 bit windows systems. I believe Avid specs call for a 32 bit system for windows vista.

Perhaps SOME people have...

There are some real scumbags on this planet.

The pro tools reference guide should have all the short cuts.(There are a lot so unless you use them frequently, they are hard to remember all of them.)

There is a drop down in PT that shortcuts...
