You have to call their support. Its still under manufacturer warranty.

Mine was under warranty, it also broke after about 6 months. I shipped them my old one and they verified it was defective...

Ok,

I shut down my computer with a working mbox 2 now every computer I put on says "device not recognized". I've removed all USB controllers and reinstalled them, although it is uneccessary...

Thanks for the replies. I'll try both of your suggestions. The bizarre thing is after about 7 or 8 minutes both will run again.

Anyone know how to get around the " digid hardware is already in use" error message? The error isn't consitant, as sometimes it doesn't give an error but I can't use the other DAW.

Don't skimp out on getting an External firewire drive for audio. Just because a USB drive is faster doesn't mean you can assume the bandwidth will remain constant during data xfer.

It's sorta funny that Sonar fixed my Win7 Pro tools issue, and now there's an ASIO driver that apparently is better than...

If it is giving you a fatal error message, I believe, something else is wrong.

You should check your error log files in the Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Event Viewer. I would start Pro...

Try right clicking , go to Properties, then Compatibility Mode then check the box and select Windows XP SP 2. Also run it as Administrator.

That fixed the issue for me the first time I heard the distorted/robot sounds as well. But, the issue returned and I went back to 8.0.3.

I assume they will eventually fix the issue and everything...

Audiosuite plugins not displaying

For some reason Audiosuite plugins aren't displaying in the drop down menu next to Event on the Menu bar.


I've trashed my preferences, accodrding to digidesigns instruction and they don't...
