Sketch bugs (desktop version)

When a Sketch is loaded, it seems to have forgotten its previous output designation, which then needs to be re-selected.

Sketch Shortcuts & other useful functions

A set of key commands (shortcuts) for Sketch would be welcome, e.g.

• View Track, Editor, Mixer, Global FX panels

• Stop Scene or Track playback

• Editor functions: Clip Play/Stop, Loop,...

OK - got it.

In the Editor window, if you zoom in, the grid resolution increases to give you 1/8th, 16th, etc.

It's great to be able to edit loops in Sketch, but not if you're limited to 1/4 note resolution.

Unless I'm missing something, it would appear that the resolution of the grid in sketch is limited to a minimum value of 1/4 notes.

Is there a hidden command for reducing the resolution to e.g....

Yes - it was confirmed previously that there is no provision for the use of ADAT I/O in a Carbon Pre, unless it's in standalone mode. This severely restricts the potential of the Carbon Pre IMHO.

Hi Rich. Thanks for your comment. I'm currently experimenting with the "Surrounds to Stereo" setting in the Mixing Prefs. I'll reply again when/if I find anything relevant to my situation.

I'm running a mix to 4.0 (old school Quadrophonic).

All audio tracks are routed to a Quad bus which is picked up by a Quad audio track, which is then routed to 4 output channels of my Carbon...

I'm using Pro Tools 2023.6.0 with Carbon & Carbon Pre interfaces, so yes, I have HD.

No problems at with Ableton Live generating MIDI clock - only in Pro Tools -

...frustrating...

Yes - it's strange that System Usage reports only 28 input channels.

I have Carbon with 8 analogue I/O and 16 ADAT I/O, plus Carbon Pre with 8 analogue I/O.

Total: 32

Pro Tools error -7119

When adding Aux sends to a large number of tracks (2 Aux sends to 28 tracks) I received this error message -7119.

A search on the Avid site produced no results or recognition of the error...
