does anyone know if it's possible to effectively pull down audio recorded at 48048 Hz (30fps) by transferring it digitally (s/pdif) into protools, and then simply running the session at 48kHz/27fps?

basically, your tempo is set by whatever is the 'master'. the 'slave' must follow. in other words, if protools is transmitting mtc data to cubase, the 'midi timeclock' in cubase (the right window...
