I got the iConnectivity mioXC for $49 at Sweetwater. I hooked it up and it works like a charm!

Re: M1 MacBook Pro and Midi keyboard issues

I downloaded snoize - to both my new M1 MBP and my old MacPro. I plug the Ozone and the MOX8 into my MacPro USB ports on the front and it sees both of them. Lots of midi traffic, including the...

I'll try snoize tonight. Thanks.

Besides PT, I also run Logic Pro X and Studio One. All 3 apps are running fine for the little bit of testing I've done. Studio One and PT are through Rosetta2...

Re: M1 MacBook Pro and Midi keyboard issues

Neither midi keyboard shows up in audio/midi setup. I tried adding a new midi instrument to the setup, but when testing, it didn't register. Yes, I rec-enabled the track. I set up an instrument...

M1 MacBook Pro and Midi keyboard issues

I wasn't sure where to put this question...

I just got a new MBP M1, as my ancient 2009 MacPro was starting to get weird disk errors and couldn't be upgraded any more so I couldn't even upgrade...

Re: Strike- set content trouble

Any update on this? I tried a search and only came up with this thread.

I just upgraded from PT9 to PT10 (10.3.2) and couldn't get Strike to recognize the content even after running the...

Rewire Reason 6.51 to PT9 not working?

Reason doesn't go into rewire mode automatically - it selects an alternative audio output device when I load the plugin. Is there an updated Rewire driver in the works, or something else I need to...

Re: Pro Tools 9 and Waves 8 Platinum

Why in the world would you copy the plugins? Waves supplies an installer.

Re: mac ppc died. macbook pro or mac pro for pt 9

My MacPro came with 6GB of RAM. I haven't upgraded it yet, but have bought RAM from crucial.com in the past for my other Macs and it's always been high quality.

Yeah, the PT9 crossgrade/upgrade...

Re: Factory Bundle for PT9

Thanks! That did it (I already had them licensed on my ilok). I forgot about some of them (cosmonaut, voce spin, etc).

Factory Bundle for PT9

Did I miss something in the installer? I used to have the Factory bundle back in 7.4 and (I think) in 8.0, but the BF2a, Fairchild and purple audio plugins are in the "Plugins (unused)" folder. Can...

Re: PT 9 & Instrument Expansion Deal - Confusion

37GB with the Expansion Instruments? Ouch!

It says it will take 28 hours at 3MB download speed. Well, I have 10MB download, but I still don't want to take a chance. I'll just wait and get...

Re: PT9 won't recognize Digi 002 Rack

That's a bit of a limitation (single client), but I have an M-Audio Oxygen 8 set as my default audio device (which doesn't require CAM) in the Sound Preference panel, so I think I'm ok.

So PT9 is...

Re: LE crossgrade unfair price

I think this is by far the best deal Digi has ever offered on an upgrade. $250 for all this:

"Untethered" software, 32 inputs, ADC, 96 tracks, more busses/auxes/instrument tracks, Digitranslator...

Re: Auto-Tune 7

I went back to AT from Melodyne some months ago. The Melodyne plugin would sometimes lose sync with the track, or squeak/chirp for no apparent reason. It was not 100% reliable. I did miss tweaking...

Re: HD Native now on Digi website

Hmmm...very interesting - and tempting to a long-time LE user. Since it's $5995 retail with an Omni, I'm wondering what the discounted cost would be, and if there would be a trade-up/trade-in option...

Re: Don't install iTunes 10 yet!

I loaded iTunes 10 two days ago and have PTLE 8.0.4, OSX 10.6.3, and the latest Waves Platinum 7.0 on a 2.26 gHz 8-core Nehalem.

No problems so far, I'm using about 4-5 Rcomps and one IR-L, and...

Re: Sibelius - Anybody Pro Toolers using it?????

I have the latest Sibelius First (only about $100 or so). I don't really use the transfer or rewire feature, but since you can export a midi file from Sibelius and import one to PT, I think it just...

Re: Pro tools expansion vs Komplete 6

I have the latest Komplete, and Kontakt 4 still crashes. I get it to do that predictably by loading an instrument by dragging it from the browser to the "rack" to replace the existing instrument....

Re: Digidesign (or Dodgydesign as we call them in England) rant.

I think I've called Digi Support twice in like 10+ years. One was a quick call about something I don't even remember that got handled in 5 minutes.

The other was when I got my 002R the day...
