Re: mp3 won't play on website

I stand seriously corrected.
Now it makes sense that it didn't make sense.
Thank you.

You were right on. Thanks so much. Went and tried two other boxes and it worked fine.
I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Funny how even though Digi is an Apple...

Re: mp3 won't play on website

Didn't actually answer your questions, I realized.

Bit Rate is 128.
Am actually building the site on this box, so working locally. Has not been put up on the web yet. Which may make your issue...

Re: mp3 won't play on website

Wow. That's a great clue. Have always wondered why Itunes and QTime 'stuttered' on this box. Have tried many things in the last two days, but haven't thought to move to another box and try there....

Re: session problem

Yah. The Weed beat me to it. Why is the program on a D: drive? There could be logical explanations for that, but it's certainly outside the norm. Also, this may seem obvious, but must be asked in...

Re: mp3 won't play on website

Anyone have a clue? Any experience with CDex? Anyone had success putting .mp3 files on the web? I'm doing some little thing wrong, I think.
Thanks...

Have converted a 16bit .wav file to .mp3 using 'CDex.' Trying to get it to play on a website 'Audio Samples' page (locally, not 'published' yet). As the page loads, the player loads momentarily...

Should I hear signal with pre turned down?

The other night had some trouble controlling a snare input on an 003. Was not compressing going in.

Is it normal, with the pot turned ALL the way down on the preamp, for some of the signal to get...

Re: From 7.3 to 8??

If you bought 7.4 after October 3rd the upgrade to 8 is free. 7.4 DID cost me $150 last night, so it's all the same, I guess.
(BTW--Thanks for the reply, DigiTechSupp)

From 7.3 to 8??

I'm running 7.3.1 currently, and last night downloaded 7.4, since it's a free upgrade from there to 8. Have several projects ($) going, and don't feel the need to install 7.4 since I'll be...

Re: Playlists - Typical Applications in PTLE

Playlists are VERY handy for comping. Say you have four vocal takes 'stacked' in playlists on the same track. Create one more playlist and name it "VoxComp" or something. If you select, then copy...

Re: 2 plugin screens at once

There's a little button on the plugin screen that looks like a target...red and white circles. Click on that button and that window will remain open when you open another plug.

Hope that helps....

Re: Command 8 + 003R

I have a Command|8 and an 003R. Works great. The few mouse clicks are not a problem. The Command|8 is bombproof, made of steel. I think there may be more plastic on the 003. I'd get my hands on...

I have ten sessions I recorded on a PC LE 6.4cs9. They were done as a "practice" CD for the musicians working on an album. I didn't enable Mac/PC compatibility 'cause I never thought I'd need it....
