I was working on a song in PT 12.6 and had Xpand2 on a Drum 'Instrument' track and a Bass on another Instrument track.

Both were working fine.

It's pretty crazy, given that 10 years ago a free basic version of Melodyne was included with Pro Tools. Not that I actually used it back then, but you'd think that Avid would be ARA...

I agree with you, and also think Avid could address several other issues in PT, especially a need for things like Midi Playlists that have the same functionality of Audio...
