For anyone experiencing the same issue, I found the fix. Go to Preferences > Mixing > Controllers you need to De-Select Edit Window Follows Bank Selection and Mix Window Follows Bank Selection.

God forbid I import anything other than DNxHD, PT sh*ts it's pants.... I have to run the better half of my sound design sessions in PT 10, anytime I try to run a session in 12 I run into 30,000 AVE...
