I so appreciate the low budget info on the Technica. I hate being on a budget for something so exciting to invest in, but that's life.

If youve used the SM57 mics, did you get a clean crisp sound that accents the symbols? I find this interesting if a non-condenser produces that quality sound.

I'm on a very slim budget and have no top quality mics for overheads like 414's. Any ideas what I can use to get that clean crisp sound that overheads can produce? Most of my mics are sm57 & 58.
