I'm having the same issue. It seems to be a 10.6.8 issue based on what I'm hearing from you guys... I have a show on Friday and I'm about to not have midi tracks for it... very very bad.........

I just cross-graded to PT9 and I cannot use Xpand2. The system always gives the critical low memory message regardless of what applications I have open (including only PT open) and says it cannot use...

This is because the Venue is designed to work specifically with ProTools, not Logic. Logic is third party, so there is no guarantee it will pass sound at all.

Side note:

Did Apple realize that they are going to lose revenue from the mobile film editors? Nearly all prosumer or higher grade cameras run on FW400 and they took that off of the MacBook Pro....

The user manual alludes to this, but never gets very specific. Can you interface your Clearcom/Telex/insertintercombrandhere intercom system directly with the Venue, and if so... How?:confused:

Also, I would think in a worst case scenario, you can just take the individual cables and loom them together using zip ties or heat shrink.
