what i meant to say was preview a track through an audio suite plugin. it sounds bad even in bypass mode. compare it to the track being played from the transport.. is it me are am i hearing things

you can take the snob attitude that i haven't sent you any thing in the way of my system but i use my system everday don't AND have time install this uninstall that . it's working for the most part...

still doesn't answer the question why after upgrade and then back to 8.ocs3 that we still have the 6031's... and no i did a complete uninstall and a new install of 8 then 8.ocs3 .guess i'll save my...

I did a complete "uninstall" of 8.0.1..... reinstalled 8 and then did the updates to 8 cs3

went to 8.0.1 had 6031 errors went back 8.0cs3 and now once a week i have the dreaded 6031 errors . never had before update! most of the time happens when i'm playing back.... today was the first...

i'm just gonna stay where i'm at .. it's working pretty good now back on 8.0cs3 .. but what ticked me off was that now maybe once a week i will get the 6031 error on 8.0cs3 .. i never had this before...

Digi tech support....that these interupts might cause clicks on input that could get written to the audio file.......needless to say those error messages happen when your playing back a track...

maybe steinberg cubase .. been trying out on a real loser machine a 256 megbyte of ram single core outdated but it runs huge amounts of vst plugins as well as it plays back 24 tracks without a hitch...
