Thanks crizdee. Yes we were getting some odd noises on certain tracks but the associated audio files were fine when auditioned, so my first thoughts were DSP chips.

Haven't had a chance to do any...

Where did you get the 7.4-8 bit from? On the beta page it says leopard 7.4.2 support. If they don't come up with full support for 8 in the new version it'll probably be 'bye bye NI' from us...... :/
