I bought PT9 last year and this is one of the main reasons why it sits on my computer un used with no interest to upgrade to 10

The sample rate had changed from 44.1 k to 48k. I started a new project and change the sample rate to 44.1 now all is well.

and I get the following error. "Could not complete the open session command because Pro Tool could not set the sample rate."

My sound card (RME) and sample rate are fine. Anybody know about this?...

When I have an area highlighted (selected) every time I hit stop the highlight goes away. It wasn't like this before so I think I unknowingly shut something off. Can any of you wise souls point me in...

It just happened to me today on PT 9 native with 2 projects out of the blue 1 file is missing from each project. Luckily I have the whole project backed up but this is scary

I'm able to visually separate the colors better in PT than in Cubase so it's not that big of an issue to me that said...I'm sure I'd use them if Pro Tools had them

So with what your saying it would be best to delete the BD'd files in the range your working with and cut the same range out of the unedited files and paste them back in?

Let's say I wanted to go back to 4 bars that have been BD'd and bring the audio back to it's virgin state what would be the easiest way to do it?

New user and I know nobody knows for sure but I'm curious how often updates are released. Is Avid as slow as Steinberg or somewhere in the middle?

Thank you, too many things at once learning a new Daw. So your saying there is a way to do this? It doesn't seem to be working for me. I just want to be able to punch in and out while it's playing.

So according to manual I can't punch in and out on the fly with PT native. If that's the case they should rethink that one. Being a new comer it's just odd having some basic functions restricted that...

Exactly. I held out on W7 as long as I could because I'm cautious when it comes to new software but I'm glad I made the switch, W7 is awesome.

I did the exact same thing and was going to sell my Micro 3 but I hooked it up to a non Daw computer in my house and ended up liking it so I kept it. Definitely sounds better than the older Maudio...
