Mac's usb port works fine..I checked with other devices..

This must be a software issue not a hardware .. AS for MAvricks only PT 11 drivers are out as of yet

Thanks Joel,

Yes it was a hardware issue and the components were burnt.

But now when I will get a replacement I was thinking just to avoid the same issue again i could use a USB hub with powere...

My Fast track c400 was disabled saying that it was drawing too much power from my macbook pro 13".

It is now with Avid service center.

Hi,

Two things you might check as well.
- The record button in PT SE should be enabled in order to get playback
- If you are using a condenser mic press 48v button on the interface.
