Timeline Insertion/Play Start Marker Follows Playback

Changing the value of Play Start Marker Follows Timeline Selection (toggle N key) didn't make a difference - I enabled and disabled this and it didn't change the behavior.

This just started happening, and I wonder if it's a setting that got changed, or some glitch in my setup. Normally, space bar starts and stops transport, but doesn't change the cursor start position....

A little more info: The positions of the blue arrows are shown in the Main and Sub window. The positions of the new select markers |- -| are shown in the Start / End / Length window.
