Re: Will new card and codecs solve my problem?

I have both QT 10.0 and QT Pro 7, neither of which appears to carry the ProRes option unless it's being called something else or built invisibly into one of the Export or Share options. That's why i...

Will new card and codecs solve my problem?

MacPro 3ghz DQC Xeon Ge Force 7300 GT

I have a client who works on Edius. If he sends me a dead-on :30 .mp4, by the time PT9 imports it into my session it has grown to 30.690 plus I'm unable to...

Re: Multiple Digi Interface use with PT9

Here's a twist: Anyone have any thoughts on whether the "n" trick will work to select between an Apogee Symphony64 setup and a 002R setup? Or does it only work for selecting between 2 Digi devices?

Re: 002R, Rosetta 200 with Symphony cards

The 002 has been spdif'd to a rosetta from day one, acting only as an interface, and it has been occasionally cantankerous even after a change in power harness years ago, but I've learned to live...

Re: 002R, Rosetta 200 with Symphony cards

The Symphony 64 goes in a slot in my MacPro DQ 3.0, the X-Symphony card goes in the Rosetta.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get one track out of, and back into, the box with this setup?

002R, Rosetta 200 with Symphony cards

I'm about to take delivery on 2 Symphony cards so I can run PT9 with my Rosetta 200. I do a lot of guitar overdubs, and occasionally I'll ReAmp something or simply run it out to my pedalboard and...

HD Native and Apogee

Might I expect no tradeoff in performance between my Apogee 200 with X-firewire cards in PT LE v9 versus Pro Tools|HD Native v9, or is there a clear winner? What it boils down to is: Do I keep what...

Re: recording to 2nd internal SATA vs firewire
