Hi

The Mbox and Mbox Pro use the exact same preamps and converters. The Mini does not.

This would bring MIDI production within ProTools to a whole new level. Rivaled with Cubase MIDI options.

I'm actually even considering switching to Cubase...

Can you run ProTools HD on the new, say... 12 core Mac Pros? Even if the chips are 64-bit? If so, you are saying they would ignore that accessible power.

They have said that they will NOT release a new HD system for at least over a year in previous threads. This can be quoted by people at avid/digi throughout the board.
