$11,500 in good condition. All of the faders work, I just replaced a bad power supply and everything works great with the exception of one scribble...

We may have made our money back but the fact remains that it is money already spent. Having to buy into something new will cost more money.

I have no problem paying an additional fee to get my plug-ins to be AAX DSP compliant. Assuming it's reasonable.

I was thinking, what if at the same time other plug-in manufacturers had the same exact idea and came out with their own proprietary boxes and mixers. One mixer is enough for me, now if I buy this...

TimeShift - Time Compression Expansion

I oftentimes use AudioSuite to compress or expand a talk radio show. For awhile there were two choices from Avid, the new one is called TimeShift and old one was called Time Compression Expansion....

I emailed you a session file. Since I emailed it I also discovered that to unmute I simply have to click on the master fader and voila, audio.

10.2 mutes after bounce

I updated my HDX system to 10.2 and now after I bounce a file, outputs 1-2 become muted. If I change the output to "no output" and then back to "1-2", audio is no longer muted. Is anyone else...

It was new to me because I never used native plug-ins so I wasn't aware of that trick. It was a revelation to me and to others as well I'm sure.

I found that out from an Avid tech support guy. And I actually should have said any DSP plug-in. Trim just happens to be one that isn't an EQ, compressor or effect.

Ugh, again with the prosumer comment... Beliefs not facts? Just the word of two different major Avid resellers.



No screen shot. Just phone conversations with dealers. A more reputable source...

I don't disagree with that at all. I also don't think it is unreasonable for an Avid rep to pay me a vist. I've been supporting them for 15 years. I have to admit that I felt pressure to get in on...

I concur. I've got a fancy HDX paperweight too. I would like Avid to pay my studio a visit with a HD Native and HDX rig and show me why I need the HDX rig. Otherwise I think I'll be returning the HDX...
