Just installed PT Free and it won\'t open

I downloaded PT Free and installed it, and the OMS, but when I tried to open it, I got the message that Driver Services Lib couldn't be found.
Any suggestions or solutions? Feel free to email me too.

Try using the "Sound" control panel from the older OS (not the 'Monitors and Sound' panel). I kept mine (from 7.5). It allows you to configure the ins and outs properly.

Lemme clarify, I was using the 7100 with Cubase, not the 001. I couldn't tell you the minimum system 001 needs.
But.. you need to consider the bus speed of the original computer, pre-upgrade,...

For some time I used a 7100 with a 300Mhz/1MB Sonnet card. It works, within limits.
The CPU speed is one big factor, but another is the motherboard bus speed which is a bottleneck..and.the 7500 bus...
