If you run Pro Tools on a Mac don't be in a hurry to use the latest OSX. It can take months for Pro Tools and plug ins to be debugged.

I may be missing something but the newest MBPs have a dedicated GPU, a pretty fast one for a notebook, the nvidia gt650m. Unless I misunderstood your concern or I missed a MBP...

I was actually asking if future Apple notebooks and the Mac Pro will be compatible with pro tools, not the other way around.

WHY does Pro tools system requirements say:
Total System RAM: 2GB minimum, 4GB (or more) recommended

This indicates Pro Tools benefits by MORE than 4gb of ram?
