The new (& correct) memory has arrived & once installed the system powers up & is now ready to be set up Fortunately I have no other plans...

As of the moment everything is installed. & yep.. two opteron 270 retail. The one difference is the DVD drive. I used the Sony's as part of a rebuild for another pc & picked up a Lite-On SATA

Thanks ! One of the reasons I was concerned about it is on the newegg page it lists the 270's L1 cache as 64kbx64kb & the 265 at 128x128. I believe it is a type-o on the 270 page though.
