Hands down since the Quad core AMD CPU's have not been released yet.

Do you have Quick Time installed?
If You need to install it.

Shane and I found that this can cause multiple problems without it installed.

Socket 1207 is for Opterons this also known as socket F.
Socket Am2 is for Athlon 64 X2 CPUs or non server single physical CPUs computers.

Works fine with first MBox.

Yeah, Shane has run a bunch of different test and some real huge sessions 60 plus tracks and at least a third were with softsynths and vsti's.

Joz,


Windows Home edition only supports one physical CPU.
You must use Windows XP Pro.
This is the first problem you must fix.

With only one stick you will be running in 64 bit mode...
