I had to downgrade back to Sierra to get things back into working state. And the process itself was a effin pain.

Tried to follow up the instructions but same results as previously - plugin FTP and console shows that the kext can be loaded because it doesnt pass the validation..

While Im just quessing, the issue with High Sierra looks like that the drivers are not signed properly. That’s atleast what console reports when I plug in ftp and see what sort of messages are...
