Thanks for the reply. To answer your question, here's my signal path:
bass > Trak2 mic-pre > 192 I|O > G5 > 192 I|O > PVC Pro (volume control) > monitors

I'm running 5.1.1 and when the Masterlist upgrade CD is set to install, it indicates that PT 5.0.1 will also be included in the upgrade.

From what I can tell 2.3 doesn't offer much more than 2.2....
