the memory thing is just not an AUDIO thing like you said, its generic, doesnt really matter imo
now that hes on a budget, i say just 1600, the higher the more expensive for a minuscule possible...

2. you already know it, but ssd main, id store samples etc projects on a mechanical 7200rpm drive. i dont think it hurts to have those samples stored on anotehr ssd though,...
