I'm not sure if this will work, but you can try putting in your PT installation disk. It might give you the option of doing an "uninstall" in which case you can select to uninstall Digitranslator.

This has nothing to do with monitoring, but before you buy a powerbook make sure you look at the sticky on the front page "Mbox2 & Powerbook G4". My Powerbook has the USB power issue so I'm thinking...

Try this:

Quit Pro Tools.
On your record drive find the "Digidesign Databases" folder.
Trash the file named "volume.ddb"
Relaunch Pro Tools.

Are the audio files sd2? I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try creating new PT sessions and "import session data" from the file menu.

The only problem with this is if you export a mono file to stereo it will still be mono. In order to have a stereo file when exporting you must have two multi mono files:

"file.L" and "file.R"...

I think I've seen that before... Try this:

1. Quit Pro Tools
2. In the finder open up which ever hard disk you are recording to
3. There should be a folder called Digidesign Databases
4. Inside...
