Re: bypass preamp 003 rack

Since you already have 5-8 going, all you have to do is select channels 1-4 as "line" input instead of "mic" inputs. Then input the line from your preamp in there. That's why they call it a line...

Re: Saving 24 bit session as 16 bit wave file

Your question is incorrect. You cannot save a session as a wave file. You can save a "session copy" as a 16bit session and conversion will happen just fine. If you are bouncing to disk and select to...

Ok, Correction. Battery 3 did bog me down a bit and I had to go up to 1024 on the buffer.

Re: Performance Issues on a New Mac Pro

I'm operating the same system with only 2GB of Ram. No hiccups with as many as 8 instruments running.
You need to set the Playback Engine to 3 processors, NOT 4.(Pro Tools LE won't use all 4) Keep...

Re: expanding the mbox 2 pro

No.....Read the specs. The Digi 002 has an ADAT light pipe for connecting another 8 channels.
That's the bonus. That's why they pay the big bucks.

Re: Simple Question about 002r to BMA6\'s

You don't need any Transformer! I'm using KRK V8's now and was going to upgrade to the BM6's.
Here's some affordable cables from Markertek, the best supplier out there.

Re: First OMF mix

Hi Peter,

I was an AMS user for years. You have to drag the audio, after import, to the tracks that you desire them to be on.

You should also, immediately after import, remove any level...

Re: Opinions: absolute best sounding plug-ins for LE!

During the day I'm working on an HD system so I have always used Waves and McDsp.
McDsp is awesome stuff. I'm very happy they have an LE package that comes with an ilok out of the box.
But...

Re: Uninstall Digi CoreAudio driver?

Sorry, I meant the app. Just move it out of the digi folder.
The driver is part of the app contents.
I may have read something about it needing to remain in the digi folder
on the answerbase.

Re: Uninstall Digi CoreAudio driver?

If you are trying to get something to work without the driver installed, you don't have to completely trash it.

I don't believe the...

Wouldn't even dream of it. When it...
