My program pauses frequently, and clicks when it does play a track. and when trying to bounce a track it stops before completing the bounce. does anyone have an answer for this.

Before you can insert the installation dvd, do you have to log in with administrator priveleges or could you just insert the dvd and start installation from there? I could not install my pro tools...
