From the Control Panel, far left in the grey header at the top of page
Go to "User CP". Then left column go down to Settings and Options > Edit Signature and type you system info in the text box...

Ah ok Control -click on Windows

Correct color will apply to all selected (highlighted) so that behavior is correct

The not being able to un group is the issue
Have tried holding down (I think the Alt key on Windows) ...
