Many bands only use one or two inputs once the drums are recorded.

An interesting product but too expensive it seems, even when compared with the likes of the Universal Audio Apollo range.

The M1 is the real DSP killer though. No need for any DSP solutions....

I disagree. Mercury, Gold and all the others I've invested in I'm still using and work fully on the latest Pro Tools rig, nearly 20 years later. That is pretty unheard of in technology terms.

I had a TDM Mix rig back in the day. If you want to stay current, then you'll need to move on for sure. Pro Tools today has moved on significantly and so have AAX plugins.
