There was an update released late last year that addressed distortion in the left channel of the AM3 when running PT 50.1.LE. The update should still be up I think... or else you might have to update...

If it's just files (like images and audio bites) then the Mac will be able to read the PC formatted disc without a problem anyway, so just burn it and...
