Almost 3 weeks have gone by now with 96gb.

No noticeable difference in performance with 96gb vs 48gb.

Medium size 5.1 mixes and large 2.0 mixes.

Yes.

You should always have a fast drive for your projects. Mine is on an m.2 drive.

I've had Activity Monitor running for 30 min watching the swap. Session is about 130 track Stereo mix of a 60min TV program. No swap and green memory pressure.

I'm not interested in VIs at all.

I'm wondering what the optimal amount of ram is and if I need more. I mix film and TV, 5.1 & 2.0 medium to large sessions.

Does anyone know anything about RAM...
