thanks for the quick reply, but thats not quite it... That makes the situation even worse actually because i then loose my starting place. Enabling (N), playback then begins exactly where i stopped,...

Elastic Audio workflow

I find that having even one or two audio tracks with elastic audio enabled to basically be an invitation for pro tools to start popping errors left and right (kindof like using instrument tracks LOL)...

I like to zoom in close to where i want to do a slice or have a closer look at the audio... now, if i hit play while zoomed in on the area, my window stays exactly where i had been zoomed into......

i had the same problem untill i changed my windows display options so my computer looked oldschool like windows 2000... now my bounces work fine... i think even if your bounce stalls 3 seconds in,...

looks like your grid is set to look at seconds instead of bars and beats... try click in the left corner of your workspace so bars and beats line is active instead of the minutes/seconds line...

Actually I have been noticing something similar to this with my FireFaceUC... I always just thought i was imagining it or it was due to the L2 on the master (not set to squish, just for peaks)

I did some more playing around with this and found that under windows playback devices (little speaker by the date and time) there is an adanced option which states "allow applicaitons to take...

Now thats interesting! I have the FireFace UC which uses a simple version of totalmix fx (no FX unfortunately).. Perhaps there is a difference in the driver you and i have running..

After all of this, the real answer is not clear.... We have some people saying it works with their digi hardware, others saying it does not work with their digi hardware... Not really many people...

the best experience with and audio app and a laptop i have experienced would have to have been logic studio with my macbook pro. I did absolutely nothing special to the mac to get it working...

I actually had a very similar experience to jhornqvist on Ideascale. RME allowed multiclient on my mac, but it does not on my windows box.

when i was using mbox pro on my mac, if i even opened...

I'm pretty sure i have this covered, i selected "best performance" under the display options then went and selected windows basic theme as instructed in the AVID system tweak video... i'll double...

I'll set it to run every time as admin and see whats good... I thought part of the last update was to get rid of the need to do that... but ill give it a try for sure!

i think ive tried running as admin before but i'll try get consistant about it...

on my old box things seemed to run better after turning off UAC... on this new machine i turned UAC off right...

hmm he was having the opposite problem!? kind of like me on my mac i guess, where using the rme allowed me to use loopback and system audio once i got rid of the mbox pro!...anyways, i gotta check it...

The RME mod also seemed to think that there is nothing much for them to do about it on the RME driver development side... All other audio apps i use can play nice together... Protools hijacks the...
