osx 10.5.4 ---- version of pt 8?

i have a new macbook pro with osx 10.5.8


what is the best rock solid ---- version of pt 8?


(or would 7.4 be more stable?)

this is to record location audio so can not crash

7200 os hd needed for pt?

i got a new macbook pro that has 5400 hd.

right, it would be an alternative - you would theoretically switch audio back and forth between direct feed and mix position sound in post.

no plugs required - only used as field recorder on video shoot

gotcha...too bad im too invested in running vista for now because every other app in all multimedia genres works perfectly...not that I like vista...its just lame digi always seems to be behind...

IE 7 is installed (and not used of course)


Why not mac? your right...its all good on mac side and this is more of a convenience issue...but it sure would be nice to have PT running on...

on an 8 core macpro with 13 gigs ram

installed brand new Vista on...
