You can use "gain" in audiosuite to create empty tracks for your duration, and then record destructive to them. That would be the closest thing to tape in the event of a crash.

You need dynamic suppression, noise reduction. CEDAR DNS 1000 is a hardware rental in my neighborhood, does a great job on reverb. Not sure if you can rent one around you...

Yeah, I cant imagine anyone ever successfully used BNR for anything... it sux.


I get great results with Multidynamics 5. It has many useful features, but one of them is dynamic noise...

Yes DD = Dolby Digital. So you are using the Neyrinck plugins? Are you able to plug the encoded optical signal directly into your protools hardware and decode realtime? Its surely not cheaper to...
