Pro Tools 12.6 on mid 2009 MacBook Pro

Is anyone sucessfully running PT 12.6 on a mid-2009 MacBook Pro?

I'm having big issues getting the software to launch consistently.

4GB RAM and a 7200RPM HD

Thinking of upgrading to a SSD...

UPDATE:

So I downloaded my installation again. Uninstalled my previous copy, rebooted, ran PT Nuke, rebooted. Proceeded to install Pro Tools. AFter the reboot, my installation hung at registering...

None really, this is a clean Windows install with every upgrade. Aside from that theres winrar, Sisoftware Sandra Lite and the latest quicktime...thats it.
