Question about the 192\'s adat out

this may be a little strange...but can a 192 be hooked up to a 002 via its ADAT out (to use its converters over the 002's)..then use them within PTLE?

actually thats what I have been doing iwth my actives - how ever, since I'm no longer using the 002's DA ocnverters and instead going ADAT out into the RME converter, then using ITS analogue outs...
