Based on my experience with the Emachines M6811 I would not reccomend it to anyone for use with PT. I know some people have had luck with it but I have had nothing but problems. You might get lucky...

It only worked before I loaded all the device drivers and other basic programs. Once I load the other drivers/programs I can't find a tweak to make it work. I can't remove programs to make it work....

I had the same frustration and wanted to smash the 6811 and the 002R but...

Try this first:

A fresh install of XP using any XP disc you can get your hands on, but NOT THE MacUniverse recovery...

Well I picked up my 002R on Saturday but I haven't had time to open the box yet.

I deleted a bunch of junk programs from my M6811, such as Norton and AOL.

Before I nuke the hard drive I think...
