Badperson, those mics are indeed versatile. The piano on that song was recorded in another studio as a backtrack and I don't know what they used. But the live piano was mic'd with another m012. ...

badperson, yep I was one of the first to venture into russian ground with those mics. He was using a handheld wireless mic that he brought. Probably a Shure. Glad you enjoyed.
