Decided to update my PT to Studio.
Surprised that there is still no change in the CPU and Ram usage.
Both are Still way too high, and Avid should really have been sorted this a long time ago....

You should just need to add GT6 as in insert to the armed track you are recording the guitar on.
Then just monitor (listen to) the output, not the input, as you play and record.

ProTools only...

I found it strange as well, can't see why the installer doesn't do it automatically.
When I did uninstall, I got the option to retain settings etc.

2021 then installed fine.
Plugins are all...

I can open other software (such as Adobe Audition) and select WASAPI with no problems, so it's clearly not a driver issue.

I've tried opening ProTools and pressing N.

WASAPI works perfectly well with any programs on my PC that can use it.
However, I get no options to use it with PT, even when opening PT and pressing N.
