i've been messing around with this for the last few days also - mainly cause im on PT9 now "insert, more enthusiasm to use the DAW again" which has ADC now (so im not always thinking now that phase...

Its so weird being able to use the laptop speakers for output and the internal mic as an input :D

the ones that come standard on the 4 digi pre's on the 003

Here's the scenario:

-Mic plugged in to channel 1 of 003
-Audio Track in PT set up with channel 1 as input...

oh yeah, I forgot to mention my plugs - all I have is exactly what came with the 003 factory console + Melodyne plugin

The session that I have been working on most lately has 1 instance of BFD...

so dougied - you have almost the same setup - barr the 003 - and you never get disconnects?

i notice your only running 10.5.1 - is that with the most recent version of PT running on top of that?
