eSATA & TDM ?

Has anyone used eSATA with TDM successfully, I'm running PT 10.3.8 with a 2008 MacPro 2x4 core, OS 10.6.8 if it makes a difference?

I can confirm that the L2007 does run on a G5/PT 7.4/OS 10.4.9.. and still working on PT 10.3.8/intel Mac Pro/OS 10.6.8.

I was on a G5 PPC, Last PCI version, with PT 7.4 and OS 10.4.9 until a few months ago when I switched to an Intel Mac Pro 2008 with 2 fleebay Accel cards and PT 7.4.2, a BIG step up in performance....

I guess they want to recoup for all the upgrades I missed.
I wouldn't have if they were as stable as 7.4....

I've been thinking about "upgrading" to PT 10, 10.3 from 7.4.2, it's a big jump, a bit pricey and apparently I don't get to keep my 7.4 license to fall back on.
I'm running a 2008 MacPro, 2 quad 2.8...

Yes, in PT V7.4, if I record 4 tracks then make 4 new tracks and record those then make a group of them they will not flip playlist for all 4 tracks even when grouped.

I seem to remember this in V7 and maybe V6 as well.
I'm still running V7.4.2 and wonder if I should go to V10..
I'll check this out when I get a minute.
Since I usually either flip single playlist...

I should have said it is a TDM system, if it makes a difference.

Can't seem to fine the info on the website.

I had the same problem, white noise on one input, a while back and I finally pulled the connector from the 192 to the HD core card and plugged it back in a few times and the problem went away.

As long as there is not already an added input card, yes..
You can have either an additional 8 in or 8 out but not both.
