By the way, other settings are as follows:

MOTU's are running at 48khz
Headphone output is at 24 bits, and resampled from MOTU #1 as the clock source.

I went through the motions, registered the software, created an iLok account, and fired up the program. It began loading in the usual manner, but stops when a window pops...

I downloaded PT9 using a friend's iLok and have been using his iLok to use the software the past 6 months. I now have my own copy and ilok key. Before I install the software and register my iLok key...

I think this question may be on the overly general side, but here goes....

Given my system, can someone tell me how many tracks I should be able to record simultaneously? Let's say at 96khz....?...

Thanks again! I guess I was hoping for a smaller box, portability is key. Any chance Avid will ever release something like the mini or micro, but with higher sample rate capability?

Here's my situation. At work, I have access to a Pro Tools HD Accel 2 system where I do most of the tracking with bands. I'd like to be able to take the tracks home and use my MacBook Pro 15", OSX...
