No, no...I understand. I only meant that I don't intend on doing any "remote" recording, so I don't care too much about the battery. Maybe I don't fully understand what the battery check is doing. ...

BTW, I've kinda been considering swapping the Mattica500/K-RoK's setup for something newer and sef-powered. Maybe something along the lines of the active Tannoy Reveal's...dunno. One of my buds...
