man this might sound stupid, but have you the command focus above the regions list selected instead of the one in the edit window. simple to overlook as they are a very tiny little button

i would suggest that perhaps you may need to eq other istruments ie drums and bass and guitar in order to help the vocals find a place in the frequency spectrum. for example guitars and drum symbols...

if you want to assign an output to multiple outputs - select the first output. then hold control when you go to assign the second output and the output will send to both of the assigned buses. this...
