Re: Pops/Static!

Yes I do have a master. I'll try making sure it doesn't clip at any point though, thanks.

Pops/Static!

I've heard a little bit about this from other people but basically, when I bounce everything to disk and play it either on my computer or an iPod, there are slight static/pops when the track gets...

Re: Pushing back the entire songs start time.

Actually no, I just use a Count Off for 2 bars when I'm recording to get ready. I'm literally trying to put an empty spot of about 5-10 seconds before the track usually starts so I can record...

Re: Too Many Plugins...

Yeah, I took all the Mini Grands out and just recorded them w/ the plugin to an Audio track plus, all the tracks that used Eleven are now being bussed to an aux. I also did this with a couple of EQs....

Pushing back the entire songs start time.

I've noticed that red diamond on your time bar and I'm wondering if that really does set the start time for the ENTIRE song on EVERY track. I've tried moving it and all it seems to do is move one...

Re: Too Many Plugins...

When I select only one though, I get a ton of popping. That's fine for recording purposes but when I go to mix/master I'm going to switch back to 2.

Re: Too Many Plugins...

Thanks guys.

Flommer: Some of the plugins are Eleven, Mini Grand, some EQ plugins, Effectrix, and Addictive Drums.

I'll give these things a try though!

Too Many Plugins...

Hello,

Well I think I finally reached the limit of too many RTAS plugins. I can live with taking away a couple (which I did just so I could have enough power to bounce) but, if this keeps up...

Re: RAM Question

I'm sure you would notice a tremendous increase in plugin usage and other RAM consuming functions of PTLE. I have 2gigs and I'm pretty happy. I wish I had four though. :)

Increasing the tempo of a track

Hi,

I'm using XLN Audio's Addictive Drums plugin and I just got back from their forums asking if after you sync the song's tempo with the MIDI drums, you can later increase the tempo of JUST the...

Re: External Drives

Okay. I'll look into that. I meant "ignore the USB" because most of these FW Enclosures come with BOTH USB and FW connectability options.

Thanks!

Re: External Drives

Explain more about a FW Enclosure, it might be.

Basically, you know how an external HD is one of the things that people stress to get?

Well, I was wondering, instead of buying an Apple External...

Re: "Could Not Allocate Space For Recording"

If it's not a problem anymore, I wouldn't worry about it.

Just a quick question but, are you low on HD space? (had to ask.)

Is there anyway to use non-apple products such as a physical maxtor HD? Or a spare computer with 70Gigs, etc.

MiniGrand, instrument plugins, etc

Hi, I'm wondering if there is anyway to use these instrument plugins without using the pencil tool or a 3rd party midi device.

Is there anyway to use your alpha or numeric keyboard? Kind of like...

Re: Applying Instrument Tracks to Reg. Audio Tracks

No, I got it to work, just using Phil's technique. I'll go ahead and try it on a stereo track though just to make sure all is well.

EDIT: It works. thanks!

Re: Bought some plug ins a few weeks ago and can't get them to SHOW UP!!

1) I ran Pluggo (because I was at a loss for what to do, even though I'm pretty sure Pluggo is for AU or VST... can't...

Applying Instrument Tracks to Reg. Audio Tracks
